It was like eating into the concrete and everything. Good thing I work at a place that specializes in cleaning up hazardous spills.

So yeah, that was interesting.

Other than that, I've been working on a song with a friend of mine. It'll knock your socks off.

An article about me will be in the September issue of Readers Digest for that thing I did a while back. Everyone MUST buy a copy. You could mail them to me, and I could sign it and mail it back, and then you'd be famous by association or something. Maybe I'll become a leader of a world power or a massive public failure and you could sell those magazines for lots and lots of money. It's an investment. You'll never regret it.

Also, don't forget we're still looking for artists.

Murudai and I are at it again! This time, he's created an incredible Real Time Strategy (RTS) engine in Flash. I've tried it out, and it works just like those big-budget RTS games you can buy in stores. Nothing's been done like this in Flash before, it's really revolutionary.

This game WILL get lots and lots of money. Guaranteed. You'll get your fair share of the profits, of course. ;)

We're looking for an established, talented artist who likes making computer-y graphics, not necessarily pixel art. This artist would provide a portfolio and be available to work on the graphics immediately, as the engine's coded already. I can't make the sound until I see what's MAKING the sound, haha.

So post here or send one of us a PM with a link to your flash. We'll give you more information if you're the right guy.

Of those who are my age and are making tons of money doing the things they love. You have 18-year-olds in the NHL making millions, teenage actors with nothing to want, and musicians touring the world playing their stuff. I'm stuck in Winnipeg with a warehouse job that tires me out too much to put much effort into music, with 3 more years of the money pit that is University ahead of me. I have all the necessities of life, yes, but every time I hear of another happy, well-off person who's my age or younger, I think "that could've been me".

I think that if I had started computer music earlier, I would be in a much different place by now. I just want to devote more time to music and sound, to play some shows, to travel. But I can't afford to quit my job or anything, and I don't think I'm good enough to apply at studios.

Oh well. That's life.

EDIT - Yeah, I'm not a mod anymore. Thanks to my jobs, I'm barely on here enough anymore to qualify as a reg, never mind for the amount of time it takes to be a proper moderator. I think it's fitting to let a more active fellow take over the role. Maybe I'll come back if I have more time.
