A well thought out argument. You make many valid points, I especially agree with the "works with the community" point. A good NG musician should be active and helpful on the forums.

Yeah, what next year's Tank needs is a more clearly defined set of criteria. Tom already promised a nominee list for musicians and users, but there needs to be criteria like "Was it well received?" and "How did the user participate in the NG community?"

Another thing would be to release discussion about all the nominees, so people can see how the winners were chosen. IMHO, Time Fuck should've won best game of the year. I mean, it was the first game to implement user levels in the API. It was a great game with game console quality, but it didn't win. What made the others better? What made Time Fuck better than the others? That was never explained.

I completely agree with you, but the awards are still very new, and there are always things to improve.

Yeah, I mean - I haven't submitted any songs cause I hate the voting system. If my hard work is gonna get pissed on then why bother - anyways

I stay here for the community ^^ and I haven't seen a SINGLE POST by hania :(
I think soro should have took that award easily, IMO you have contributed way more than her and thus deserve it way more than that lazy- erm... well don't get me wrong, she's a good singer but i just think this shows the rest of NGs ignorance towards the fellow audio community :) Long Live teh NG AUDIO COMMUNITYYY!!!
