Hard drive failure

Posted by Rig - November 28th, 2009

My OS hard drive of my computer decided to fail early this week. Luckily, all my projects and stuff were on my secondary drive. The failed drive was a cheap, cheap SSD with a JMicron controller.

Do NOT get SSDs with JMicron controllers.

I'm gonna be upgrading to an Intel drive of some sort. In the meantime, I won't be online nearly as often, and music will definitely be slowed down (from the glacial pace it already is, heh).

Anyways, yeah, spend money.

Remember a few months ago when you had no money? Good times...

I <3 employment.

My GPU also just died. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT buy any gpus from nVidia. This small company is just going to betray you. Now i had to trash my laptop and buy a new pc, how fortunate is that.

Also i feel sorry for you, really. I do!

I have a GPU from nVidia. It works great, but I'm planning on upgrading to an ATI 5970 sooner or later :D

Man that sucks. I have a seperate hard-drive that has a Terabyte of space. However, it only works for space, not for performance. My computer is still slow.
