Well, I moved back to Winnipeg for the summer. Due to lack of baggage room, I had to leave my speakers and my MIDI keyboard back in Montreal. Now all I have for music is my laptop and some cheap headphones - not exactly my dream studio.

I miss my speakers. :'(

Anyways, that should explain why the songs I upload here over the next few months will sound crappily mixed.

You aren't allowed to have ANY copyrighted samples in your song. Not even a millisecond, so don't even think about uploading that Soulja Boy remix. "Fair use" does NOT apply on Newgrounds, as flash authors might want to use your song in a sponsored flash (or Newgrounds might want to use it for promotional purposes) - once someone pays for a song with a copyrighted sample, you have to give some money to the original author.

My mp3 player broke.

It fell off my desk - like, a three foot drop. Apparently it can't handle that sort of thing. The hard drive platter shattered in its case, and now it makes a shicka-shicka sound when I shake it. That's not healthy. :(

What mp3 player should I get next? Not an iPod, plz.

Edit: I should probably specify what I had. It was a 5-year-old iRiver H140 - I bought it for its CD-quality WAV recording and optical in/out ports, as well as the fact that it can play ANY FORMAT YOU WANT.
They don't make 'em anymore though :((((

I've decided to make a crappy, happy, cheesy dance (or happy hardcore) song that will get me onto the AP Top 5. Why? Because then, I'd be able to post front page news posts.

For God's sake, sometimes the crappiest stuff gets on the Top 5. I guess I'll just...aim for mass NG appeal. How does a Legend of Super Metroid the Hedgehog Bros. Techno Remix sound to you?

Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve.
