VST (or VSTi)
These are little programs that generate sounds and/or apply effects to sounds. A VST (Virtual Studio Technology) is an effect-applying program, while a VSTi (Virtual Studio Technology instrument)is a sound generating program. VST/is come in a .dll file though, not .exe. You have to load them up into a sequencer in order to use them - a good free one is Reaper.

I have access to a room full of working vintage synthesizers at University. Pictured below is a Roland System-100 synth. I don't have a list of everything in here yet, but I'm sitting beside two Wurlitzer Sidemans - drum machines from the 50s.
You know what that means...VINTAGE DRUM AND BASS TIME!!!! :D

Sad faic just because it looks so pitiful.

I've nearly doubled my fan count in 2 months. When I made this post, I had 100. Now I have 192. It took me almost a year to get 100, and I'll probably have 200 by the end of January.

I think that's pretty good for not being on the front page or in the weekly top 5 and having written only 62 music reviews. SBB has beaten me in everything I just mentioned, which is why he's higher up...but he has less than 100 more fans than I.

So I guess the moral of the story is that I should stop whining about low exposure, because people seem to like me. My music has been used in some popular YouTube vids, I'm pretty much the ParagonX9 of Splice, and I have some good traffic to my site and on various P2P networks.
